This is my practice front cover which I done to help me with my Photoshop skills. I did try and apply colours so that it would fit in with my chosen genre. I really like the layout of this magazine because it isn't too crowded, so I am going to use this draft to help me when making my final front cover. Looking back at my flat plans, I see that I the layout is very similar but I have changed a few things around such as the sell lines and issue number.
to improve I could have used a bit more colour as the magazine looks quite dark. I could of made the main cover line a bright colour so that the target audience would see the name stand out. I also cut out a part of the magazine when I screenshot it, so you can't see the price above the barcode.

Then I have inserted the images I took from the booklet that myself and Olivia completed during the lesson. These images show anthers students feedback on my practice front cover, and what I should improve on. One of the images also shows a description on how to use Photoshop. this will help me if I get stuck when using Photoshop so I can use this to look back on.
